There are several common causes of slip and fall accidents in the state of Florida. Many are caused by water or oily substances left on the floor. Those substances may have occurred because of, for example, an employee that’s improperly stocking merchandise. Water or other substances may be coming out of a freezer or a cooler because that freezer or cooler has not been properly maintained. Water may be dripping from a roof where the property owner has failed to maintain the safety of that roof for its customers.
