Return to FAQ Videos

Transcript:

If your home has been damaged in the hurricane. Your insurance company may fail or refuse or properly pay the amount that’s owed to you for your damages. If that happens, you need to hire an attorney. When that attorney makes the recovery for you of those proper damages from your own insurance company. Your homeowner’s insurance company must pay your attorney, on top of and in addition to the benefits and interests they already owe you. If your insurance company is not paid for your proper losses after a hurricane, you need to hire a hurricane attorney who will not ask you to come out of pocket, but will make a recovery for you and then make your company, the company that has improperly paid your claim, pay for their attorney’s fees.
