Will my Florida auto accident case be affected because I gave a recorded statement to the other drivers insurance company?

Return to FAQ Videos

Transcript:

Your case may be negatively affected if you provide a recorded statement to the other person’s insurance company. You must be very careful and understand that the other insurance company has very little obligations to you. They don’t care about you, and their job is not to pay your claim. Also, you have to be prepared for the type of questions they might ask you, and you must be ready to handle them. You really should speak to a competent attorney before you attempt to speak to the other person’s insurance company, especially if you’re being recorded.
